Education as a subject in Govt. Degree College Uri was introduced in 2005 since the inception of the college. Department of Education in the college is one of the largest departments as most of the students opt for Education as one of the subject choices. The Department of Education has the privilege to acquaint the learners with a wide range of Core and Generic courses from 1st to 6th semesters. Moreover, the Multidisciplinary and Skill Enhancement Courses are part and parcel of the subject where the learner gets opportunity to be graduated.
